The original owners had been in this 1979 High Ranch for over 45 years — four bedrooms, dual living spaces and a full acre that had become impossible to maintain, while arranging care for a live-in relative. We built the closing around their packing timeline. Before and after photos included.
Newer HVAC, updated water heater, replaced roof — but sited right along the rail corridor with a badly chopped-up interior. The owners were relocating to North Carolina on a fixed date, so we bought as-is with a lockbox arrangement and let them leave on schedule.
A ten-year-old roof and solid siding, but a kitchen and second-floor bathroom both needing complete gut jobs, a furnace near end of life and all perimeter fencing to replace. Rather than sink money into repairs before moving closer to work, the owner sold as-is on a flexible timeline.
